The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan
This is a story of two powreful children, Sadie and Carter Kane, going on a CRAZY adventuer to save their father from the evil god Set. But the weird thing is Set is their dad's brother. So the kids are on a misson to kill or hurt their uncle. But Set is not going to make this easy on them: they are in for one of the rides of their life.
This is a good fiction story, one of the best I have ever read. So I would say this is a good book for any age. But even a better adventure book. Many people like these books and I am one of them. Oh and this the first book in The Kane Chronicles series.

The Emerald Atlas by John Stephens
I read The Emerald Atlas with my father this year. In this book, 3 kids, Kate, Michael and Emma are taken from their parents, because they find out there’s something special about them. They all have very different personalities. Kate is the oldest and the leader. Michael is obsessed with dwarves. Emma is very brave. Emma is also the youngest. They go through a lot to find out who they are.
When they go on this crazy adventure they get to travel through time and often find themselves in a life or death situation. There are wizards, witches, screechers, evil secretaries, and salmac-tar. Almost all those things are evil. There’s also war that goes on. Good vs. Evil. It was the fight for life and death.
Someone who likes adventure books would love this. Grownups can read this with their children. I thought this book was amazing. I give it 5 stars. Though this book is very good it is very complex. I’m definitely getting the second book.
This is my Jewel or Gem book for the What’s in a Name Challenge 4 from BethFishReads, so I’m done. My mom and I are going to do it again next year.

Book Review: The Battle of the Labyrinth
After going through a tough day, they find their way out, and go back to camp ready for war. Seeing their enemies come back for a playdate with some monsters, they got into a fight on the way. Will Percy save the day, or will all fail in their quest to save Olympus?
I LOVED this book, with all its action and adventure. All the battle scenes gives it the perfect touch. With a liiiiiittle romantic touch, everyone would love this book. It’s good for boys and girls, and people that like mythology and adventure stories. I think if you like Harry Potter, you will like Percy Jackson.
I counted "battle" as my evil word for the What's in a Name 4 Challenge. If you have never done a reading challenge, you should try it.

Ivy and Bean and the Ghost that Had to Go
I liked this book because it’s kind of spooky. I loved that the author put in some mistaken characters. The author put some things I didn’t expect. I like that. This book made me happy because of the bond between the girls, even though they weren’t supposed to be friends. This is the last book in my fourth grade reading challenge. Now I can work on my summer reading!
P.S. I love a twist!

Once Upon a Marigold Book Review
Queen Olympia was not sunshine and daisies. She was bad. Guess who has to stop her? Chris. Can he do it?
I loved this book because there’s action, comedy, love and adventure. It’s a book to read if you’re having a bad day. It will bring your spirit right back up.
This book counts for a plant in my class reading challenge, and as a number in Beth Fish Reads’ What’s in a Name 4 Challenge.

A Wrinkle in Time was a challenging book
Yes, this is a book people would like if they like books about danger. This would be a good book for kids 9-14. This is a great book. Read it!
Time is my musical term book for Ms. Lutz's class challenge. And Wrinkle is my movement for the What's in a Name 4 Challenge.
